Calculus is the mathematical study of continuous change. It is used to create mathematical models in order to arrive into an optimal solution. It is fundamental for **Physics,** engineering, economics, statistics, and medicine. Calculus I will primarily cover derivatives, techniques for derivatives and their applications.

The prerequisites for this course are: Precalculus I and II

This course is a co- or prerequisite for: **Calculus II**, **Physics** I and** Physics II**
